During the Lenten season this year we are going to mediate on a number of names from the Bible that will help us focus on Jesus, and on the fact that because of Him God can call us by name and say that we belong to Him (Isaiah 43:1).
St. Michael Lutheran Church chose to stand with its Christian brothers and sisters facing Islamic extremism in Iraq and Syria by holding a “Persecuted Church Sunday” this past November and by issuing a church-wide challenge to members to purchase “I am N” t-shirts through Voice of the Martyrs.
Laity, pastors, neighbors, family, and friends are invited to attend the 2015 Theological Conference, “Life in the Spirit: Watered, Fed, and Armed.” Three models of life in the Spirit will be presented by expert guest speakers to help you gain a more intimate relationship with God the Holy Spirit and understand how He works in your life.
