Thoughts From Pastor Naumann on the Golf Outing
While our tuition is as affordable as any other private school in our area, there is still considerable cost for operating this ministry. We have made it our goal to provide Christian education for any and every family, regardless of religious background or affiliation, and without money being a deal breaker. But the only way we can do this is through assistance provided by our Tuition-Assistance Fund. Every year we expend at least $50,000 from this fund for families in need who could benefit from Christian education for their child(ren).
Once again, the Mighty Angels Golf Outing is going to be on a weekday but about a month earlier than in the past – Monday, August 17, 2026, with a 9:00 am shut-gun start. It is a four-person scramble consisting of teams of men, women, or a combination thereof, and it will again be played at the fun and friendly Pine View Golf Club (52065 Pulver Road, Three Rivers, Michigan 49093). Holding it shortly before school resumes hopefully makes it possible for more school parents to play, and for a number of our staff to be present as well. At the conclusion of the round, we’ll have a nice awards luncheon (at about 2:00 pm), and our principal, Mr. Greg Johnson, will briefly share with you the state of our school ministry.
If you would like to play and/or help sponsor the event, print/return the registration form with your check by August 10, or register and pay online here. We’ll plug you into a team if need be, but ideally you’ll form your own foursome to join us! Keep in mind that the event is open to both women and men. The children and their families at St. Michael Lutheran School surely thank you for your tax deductible donation.
