SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups meet on a variety of days and times. Some groups are focused on specific demographics or issues, while others are open to all. Groups are listed below according to category. For more information or to see about starting your own group, contact the church office at 269-327-7832.
Why We Like Small Groups
- The Word of God is a Christian’s source of spiritual nourishment. As Small Groups meet and encounter the grace and truth of God in the Bible, God develops their grasp of the Gospel and ability to apply it. (John 6:68)
- The experience of community in these groups reminds us and others that Christians are fellow members of the Body of Christ, connected through Him (1 Corinthians 12:27)
- Learning how to apply God’s commands and His promises (Law & Gospel) helps us to bring appropriate words of comfort and correction to our friends and family in daily life. (Colossians 3:16, Hebrews 4:12)
- Because of God’s love for us, we are also encouraged to be a blessing to others. We are motivated to share His love for the lost in various ways. (Hebrews 10:23-25, Acts 2:46-47)
