2020 Michigan District Principal of the Year
We are blessed with many Lutheran schools throughout the Michigan District, and all of those schools have administrators that play a vital role in the success of Lutheran education. We are grateful that we have so many dedicated principals throughout the state. Each year we lift up an outstanding principal who exemplifies what it means to be a servant leader. It is our privilege to recognize Greg Johnson as the 2020 Michigan District Principal of the Year. The following are some comments shared during the nomination process.
- Greg is the consummate administrator is always leading in a professional manner with Christ at the center of his life. He has a heart for his students and expertly facilitates the educational process in his school. He provides excellent leadership for his faculty, encouraging them in every aspect of their calling.
- Greg truly understands what if means to be a Called servant of our Lord and demonstrates that calling in his daily life.
- I appreciate his humble spirit and his desire to always do what is best for his students, faculty, and parents.
It is evident that Greg’s ministry to the students, staff, and families at St. Michael is one that should be celebrated. We are extremely thankful for his leadership over the years. He is truly one of the gifted leaders we have in the district, and he is gracious in sharing those gifts. We look forward to hearing how God continues to use Greg in the future to have a powerful impact on those he is called to serve!
