St. Michael CELL Groups

St. Michael CELL Groups are caring CHRISTIAN communities where members
are EAGER to LEARN and grow spiritually even as they develop LOVING
meaningful relationships with others and experience the joy of service.

Christians Eager to Learn & Love

Christians - As Lutheran Christians, and each parts of the Body of Christ, we are connected to one another. We share our lives together and pray with one another in our small group.
(Romans 12:10-15)

Eager - In the community of the small group, we are motivated by the Gospel to reach out to others with the Good News of Jesus Christ and in acts of loving Christian service.
(Acts 2:46-47)

Learn - The small group is a uniquely powerful way to learn more about our faith as we search the Scriptures together, seeking answers and spiritual direction as a guide for our lives.
(1 Timothy 1:5)

Love - This is what ultimately identifies us as Christ's disciples and is acted out so amazingly in the small group as we encourage, challenge, and simply enjoy each others company.
(Hebrews 10: 23-25)

At St. Michael Lutheran Church, our cell groups serve many functions:

The Cell Groups at St. Michael are small groups pairing from 4 to 12 people who meet in homes or at the church for bible study and friendship. These groups are often formed around a common denominator such as working woman, teens, or empty nesters. Some however, are open to anyone and are intergenerational. The common factor is the blessings that take place in these groups. There is a unique opportunity for both growing closer in relationship and stronger spiritually in this discussion-oriented environment.
